The Perfect Basmati for Biryani

This method will give the rice nice, long, tender, separate grains like you get in restaurants.it will neither get sticky nor mushy.Aged Basmati rice is recommended for Pulao/Biryani.

DIRECTIONS:

STEP 1: Rinse the rice well. This removes the powdery starches produced by the rice grains rubbing against each other that tend to make rice stiky. Rinse at least three times until the water runs clear.

STEP 2: Place washed rice in a large bowl, and add enough water to completely cover. Let it soak for 15 minutes.
